Irina Naumovska started studying music at the age of 5 attending the renowned Center of Music and Ballet Arts “I. N. Luj” in her native city Skopje (Macedonia). Finishing primary and secondary music school in the classes of professors Nolceva and Pozaritzkaya-Pejsahova she received the special award of the city of Skopje “13th November” 1996 for highest artistic achievements as well as the award “Klimentina Rafajlovska” for best student and performer, in 2000.
She held her first solo recital at the age of 14.
Naumovska graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Music Arts at the University of Arts in Belgrade in 2006 under Prof. Jokut Mihailovic. In 2007 she received her diploma M.Mus. for completing postgraduate studies by specializing in the field of music arts at the same faculty. In 2014 Naumovska successfully completed her doctoral studies, with outstanding grades, enabling her to gain the title of Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A.) from the University of Arts in Belgrade. She defended the thesis: “The influence of the Romantic aesthetics on the genre of Piano Sonata: Case studies: F. Schubert Piano Sonata in B flat major D960, F. Chopin Piano Sonata no. 2 op. 35, A. Scriabin Sonata-Fantasy no. 2 op. 19.” During her studies she received the awards:
-“Olga Mihailovic”, for most promising young artist, 2005;
-“Katarina Acimovic”, for best performance of a Piano Sonata (performing Chopin Sonata no. 3 op. 58) 2006;
-“Emil Haek” for most talented artist, 2008.
During the period of postgraduate studies at the same faculty, she worked as a Professor’s assistant with a great number of young pianists.
Irina Naumovska performed on a great number of international concerts, festivals, recitals, competitions and Master classes in many countries throughout the world, just to name a few: France, Italy, Greece, Morocco, Austria, Germany, the Russian Federation, Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, Pinang), Sweden, Portugal, USA, Japan, Spain, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Serbia, etc.
During her years of studying she worked closely with distinguished professors and artists such as: Hiroko Nakamura, Arie Vardi, Michel Beroff, Vladimir Viardo, Naum Starkman, Matti Raekallio, Pavel Nersesjan, Noel Flores, Vladimir Tropp, Arbo Valdma, Elizabeth Wilson, Zeni Zaharieva, Michael Ceitlin.
She received 7 International first and second prizes on competitions in:
-Morocco 1998 in a category up to 35 years,
-France 1997,
-Italy 1995, 1996,
-Serbia 1996,
-Bulgaria 1996.
She received a special certificate for highest artistic performance at the International piano competition in San Diego, USA, 2003.
She won total of 7 First prizes in piano competitions in Macedonia, 1992–2001.
Naumovska participated on International music festivals in:

-Music Festival “Pro Musica” piano-duo with pianist Kristina Svetieva, Skopje, Macedonia, 2017.
Naumovska performed with Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra 1998, 1999 and 2014; Camerata Schweiz Orchestra under maestro Howard Griffits in KKL Luzern, Switzerland 2009; Konzertvereinigung under maestro Tiziano Duca in Konzerthaus Vienna, Austria, 2010 and 2011.
She held a great number of solo recitals. To name a few: Stockholm, Sweden (at the City Museum) 1998; Goslar, Germany 2006; Belgrade, Serbia (at the Kolarcev University, in the series Meeting with the Artist), 2006, 2013; Hamamatsu (Iwata Hall), Japan, 2008; Bijeljina, Bosnia, 2013; Fukuoka, Okinawa, Tokyo - Japan, 2013; Hakodate, Sapporo, Obihiro, Asahikawa (The Crystal Hall), Tokyo - Japan 2014; Florence, Italy 2016; Waldkirch, Germany 2017.
Naumovska performed on several occasions in Italy during 2000 as a part of International chamber music quintet collaborating with extraordinary talented musicians. She is collaborating and has held great number of concerts with the soprano Tijana Djuricic since 2012.
Audio and video recordings have been realized at concerts held in Malaysia, Morocco, Macedonia, Switzerland, Austria, Serbia and Japan.
Naumovska has been a member of the Jury in the International competition of young musicians “Ohrid Pearls”, Ohrid, Macedonia, 2014.
She is a member of the Piano Duo Association from Tokyo, Japan.
